MindSpectrum

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this a diagnosis?
No. MindSpectrum produces a tendency and overlap map. Only a licensed clinician can diagnose.
Where do my answers go?
They don't go anywhere. They stay in this browser's local storage. You can delete them any time from the privacy page.
How long does it take?
The written roof screen is about 36 items; most people finish in 12–20 minutes. The child parent form is shorter.
Is there a form for children?
Yes. The parent form for ages 6–17 is at /en/children. Children should not complete it alone; it is not a diagnosis or school report.
What are the visual tasks?
There aren't any anymore. The screening is text-only; tapping an option advances automatically.
What if I leave halfway through?
You can continue from where you left off in the same browser. It doesn't transfer to another device.
Should I use this if I'm in crisis?
No. In an emergency call your local emergency number. See the crisis resources page.
Are the scales official?
No. The question language is derived from dimensions of ASRS-v1.1, PHQ-9, GAD-7, OCI-R, MDQ, AQ-10, LSAS, PCL-5 and similar inventories. Licensed full forms are not administered.
